I have had this book in my kindle hoard for a long time. I don't know what I was waiting for! Once I got started, I found it hard to put it down. The story took a little bit to build, but once it did, I was hooked. It had a little romance, paranormal elements and action. Loved Sean, Dec and Killian. I cannot wait to start the next book in the series.

I liked the plot of this book. However it is not consistent in characterizations. You would think the main character would be more wary with strangers, especially men given the opening scenes. She ev en tells herself bad boys are not good. There is a lot of violence and sex in the book.
this is everything I don't like in a book. Angels demons and young adult. Have no idea why I chose this because I'm certainly not a young adult but I AM SURE GLAD I DID !!! The story line had me engrossed from the get go. The authors description of the characters and their personalities and quirks drew me right in. This is what I call a 2AM book because you're not going to put it down till the last page and then you will want for more. Lucky for me because there are more ! Start #2 tomorrow..Stay tuned..WOW. Get #3 before you start number 2. If you don't you're gonna wanna kick yourself. READ THIS !!!
This is a very mysterious and intriguing introduction to a new series.

It starts out a dark place for Mica with the loss of her mother and a brutal attack that almost kills her. She struggles to deal with the pain and moves to live with her father and his family for a new start.

With this move, she meets a group of men that are very secretive and one of them really captures her interest. Sean seems interested at times and then keeps his distance. She can't figure him out. All three of them men seem dangerous.

As the story progresses, we learn a lot more about Sean. Mica's future changes dramatically with the development of psychic powers. There are many surprises and reveals and much more to come for the characters. I look forward to reading more of the stories.

It is a well-written story that keeps you intrigued as you wonder what the next big reveal will be. I like Mica a lot. She is strong and refuses to let anyone keep her down for long. Sean is mysterious and sexy and very protective of Mica. Once he reveals more of the truth to her, they really grow close.
This is a very interesting book, it is about a band of God's angels who are trained as special forces to do warfare with demons and with evil humans on the earth. As they attempt to protect an adventurous young woman with no fear, she is drawn to one of the angels in a romantic way. Now, this story does not follow Bible morality or teaching. It institutional and the main characters, both human and angels do commit sin. So hopefully, unsaved persons will not be misled about what God considers right or wrong. God's holy angels actually are neither male nor female, although on earth, they can take on the form of male or female. They do not sin sexually or in any other way and they are not allowed to kill humans. But this book is fiction and the angels powers over darkness are very enjoyable to read about. And the young woman begins to develop her own powers. I enjoyed reading this book!

With a well developed world and likeable characters, the story flows smoothly. I look forward to future adventure filled reads as the series continues. I received a copy of Priming from the author in exchange for an honest opinion.
There are some grammar and spelling errors and some plot holes, but the story is incredible. I had a hard time putting it down and read it in only 2 days. I'm still thinking about the series and I had to buy the rest of the books. If you get more than 5 chapters in and are loving it, buy the box set! It's cheaper than buying the books individually like I did. I wish I'd known a box set was available.

Thank heaven for her samples of the next book until I could buy the next one. Great read, easy to understand, but it's interesting has lots of twists and lots action and romance. The series is racier than I typically read, but it didn't take up the whole book. I noticed that each book added a bit more of the romance/sex scenes.

If that's not your thing you won't enjoy these books, but if you don't mind that and you like an action/adventure with parapsychology/fantasy then you'll enjoy these!
